01 Who I am

PORTRAITTOULOUSE · FRAbdelali Es-Semlali, Product Owner et Business Analyst, Toulouse
Abdelali Es-SemlaliProduct Owner · Business Analyst

More than requirements.
I build products.

BusinessTechnologyUsers

Nearly five years inside aerospace and enterprise IT, sitting between the people who have the problem and the teams who build the answer. I don't hand over a requirements document and walk away — I own the outcome: the vision, the backlog, the trade-offs, the release, and the adoption that follows.

Most of my work happens where things are genuinely complicated: multi-division stakeholders, regulated environments, SAFe trains with several teams, and legacy processes that someone still runs in a spreadsheet.

02 Career journey

Five years, one industry, increasing ownership.

Consulting for Sopra Steria and Capgemini, embedded at Airbus since 2022. Each step moved me closer to the product and further from the ticket.

05 How I work

From ambiguity to delivery.

  1. 01

    Discover

Understand the real problem, not the requested feature. Workshops, process walk-throughs, the people who live with it.

  2. 02

    Define

Translate business needs into clear requirements, features and acceptance criteria a team can build against.

  3. 03

    Prioritise

Focus on what creates the most value. Say no in writing, and explain the trade-off to whoever asked.

  4. 04

    Build

Work close to design and engineering through refinement, sprint reviews and PI cadence. Unblock, don't supervise.

  5. 05

    Measure

Adoption, predictability, delivery time. Learn, iterate, and bring the evidence to the steering committee.
